For the story, "The Most Beautiful Woman In Town" I chose Tyler the Creator song “Judge Judy.” This song talks about how he met a woman and how they hit it off and later on and how she passed away unexpectedly. In the story, Cass is seen as the most beautiful woman in town, and how many men always stare at her and want to be with her. But because she seems crazy many people only see her as a sex machine. In the song “Judge Judy” Tyler sings about how he doesn’t care about how she acts in front of him and what she had done in her past “'Cause I don't judge, Judy (yeah, yeah, yeah) (What's your fetish and what are you into?) No, I don't judge, Judy." This correlates to my narrative since Charles doesn’t see Cass as a crazy person like everyone else but sees her as more of a spiritual person who wanders this world. Another one that fits into the story would be “You can ride my face, I don't want nothing in return, Your body count and who you fuck is not my concern, 'Cause I don't judge, Judy (yeah, yeah, yeah”. Charles does not care for Cass's body as much as the other guys who want to sleep with her which leads her to become intrigued by him and make love with him the next morning.
The ending of The Most Beautiful Woman In Town was shocking since the suicide of Cass seemed so abrupt but subtle at the same time. Charles and Cass had a wonderful day at the beach lying together and doing nothing but enjoying the sun the week before her death. The last lyric that connects to this story is “Sorry that I haven't been communicating much, This past year has been rough, It spreaded to my head (yeah, yeah, yeah), I knew it when we met, if you're reading, it's too late, I'm on the other side, but I just wanna say, Thank you for the moments I could grab before I left, I hope you live your life, your truest self with no regrets”
My MVP is Cass from “The Most Beautiful Woman In Town” because of her unpredictable spirit. Cass enters this world with the best genetics she could ever get from her parents. However, the trait that “brings” out the worst in her is her free-spirited personality, as she flirts, kisses, and talks to whomever she pleases. The people surrounding her could never understand Cass since she was too crazy for others. But Charles saw Cass for who she was although she would damage her body to grab the attention of others or to remove the gaze of the people who were around her so she could feel normal.
The best part of the story would have to be when Cass committed suicide. Since although they bonded more after their second confrontation in the bar, went to Charles's place to just talk, and went to the beach the next day. Cass still committed suicide after Charles confessed her love for her. This left me in shock because even though Charles demonstrated that there are men who will see Cass for who she is on the inside rather than on the outside. She chose to cut her throat and finish the task she started earlier in the story.
Judy from “Judge Judy” and Cass reminds me of the Chinese prophecy yin and yang they’re both similar yet different at the same time. Cass commits suicide not caring about how the people that surround her may feel while Judy dies of cancer. Not letting Tyler know she was ill and soon to be deceased. Nevertheless, both were independent, open-minded, and free-spirited which led them to meet the one individual who could be their other half. Yet I believe that Cass would have never been fulfilled with Charles. While Charles may have felt as if he was the only person who could understand her, it seemed as if the only person who could truly understand her was herself since no one around her was born as beautiful and free-spirited as she was.
The song that best represents my MVP is Judge Judy because Cass and Judy are both free-spirited people who live life however they like. I stumbled on this song after seeing Tyler The Creator's new album release on different social media platforms. At first, I saw it as nothing special, but then the song “Judge Judy" found it on my TikTok for you page. When listening to his music I was instantly in love with its story since it indicated that some people may have an unforgettable and regretful past. However, certain individuals will overlook what you have done and search for the best in you rather than the worst. After reading the story I believe the lyrics that connected the most were the ending of the story and the ending of the “Judy Judy”. For it all, there was peace in the, air and we walked about and stretched on the lawns and didn't say, much. lt simply felt good being together, …, "I'm sorry. Didn't you know?", "No. ", "Suicide. She was buried yesterday, …, A suicide?, Mind telling me how?", …, "She cut her throat(6-7)

For the reason that though Judy and Cass passed away without a word to their better half but, presumable cared and wished the best for the two after their departure to the afterlife.
This I Believe: Cass is an odd individual who has no care in the world about what others may have thought about her. She was born with five other sisters who despised her because of her looks and rambunctious personality, an alcoholic father who passed away, and a mother who left them. She was seen as someone who was easy to sleep and knew nothing of life's difficulties because of her beauty. However, she faced more difficulties than all of her sisters since the people around her were mostly interested in her appearance, and the ones that did not believe she was too crazy to be considered sane.
Additionally, there were many obstacles to overcome she met Charles who truly understood her for what she was. Tyler The Creator's song “Judge Judy” builds on the meaning of the story. Tyler created his new CHROMOKOPIA album with multiple different meanings but he explicitly goes over his life, because he believes that artists should begin becoming more open about their lives rather than conceal who they are. Tyler sings in his song “Couple guys, it made her feel alive (yeah, yeah, oh), She had a free spirit, you know?” which leads me to believe that he is aiming this message toward everyone who may see themselves exactly like Judy and Cass.
Although Cass struggled with her identity and discovering what her desires were. Eventually, she would come across other individuals like Charles and find out what she needed for herself before she could feel at peace. The answer to her solution was insane yet, sane at the same, her suicide was the best decision she made.
